Who was Moses? Your dictionary will tell you "In the Bible, Moses was the leader who brought the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, and into the Promised Land, received The Ten Commandments from God, and gave laws to the people." In the Bible story we find that Moses had a brother named Aaron. In Israel, Moses was governor and Aaron was the High Priest. Aaron (Church) and Moses (State). Moses was the leader of Israel while Pharaoh was the leader of Egypt. At the time of the Exodus it was Pharaoh and the gods of Egypt vs. Moses and the God of Israel.
In your dictionary you will find the word 'mosaic'. It is associated with Moses. Mosaic has two definitions.
1. Mosaic. Moses or the writings, laws, etc. attributed to him.
The first five books of the Bible; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and
Deuteronomy.
2. Mosaic. To make the big picture out of many little pieces. The

Moses is credited with writing the first five books of the Bible.
Moses has a writing style found thru out the Bible. Moses does not put
everything on any one subject in one place. He scattered information in bits and
pieces all over the place. His writings, even the whole Bible, it's a mosaic of

3. Another word related to Moses is 'mosey'. "To proceed without haste. To move along." Moses earned this word association by wandering forty years in the Sinai while on the way from Egypt to the Promised Land.
